[PT] Livro "Néveda nas Américas" adicionado ao Plano Regional de Leitura
Depois do primeiro livro "Néveda nos Açores", agora foi a vez da segunda aventura da personagem, criada por Terry Costa e ilustrada por Vera Bettencourt, "Néveda nas Américas", de fazer parte da lista de obras recomendadas pelo Plano Regional de Leitura, LER Açores.
A personagem Néveda, inspirada pela planta Calamintha nepeta, mais conhecida como nêveda, já deu a volta ao mundo duas vezes. A primeira num avião de papel, que nos leva a conhecer as 9 ilhas dos Açores, e a segunda num teletransporte, pelo nome de Catatram-Lalaland, que aventura do arquipélago no meio do Oceano Atlântico até a vários países das Américas, focando em temas de emigração, história, direitos humanos, ambiente e o mundo das artes.
O livro "Néveda nas Américas" recebeu uma digressão pelo Canadá, EUA e Uruguai, no ano passado, sendo distribuído por bibliotecas e escolas no Uruguai, com o apoio do Diretor da Cultura da Intendência de Colônia, Dr Eduardo Bonansea. Na passada primavera recebeu uma digressão pela Europa e está disponível em Bruxelas, na livraria Petite Portugaise, a dois passos do Parlamento Europeu. Nos Açores, a versão bilíngue do livro faz parte de aulas do 4.º Ano Inglês, e ainda em Escolas Profissionais nos cursos de Turismo. Este Outono, a comissão do Plano Regional da Leitura adicionou o livro na lista recomendada para Educação Pré-Escolar, leitura em voz alta e leitura orientada.
O livro está disponível em livrarias, incluindo Letras Lavadas em Ponta Delgada, Loja do Adriano em Angra do Heroísmo, Telegrapho na Horta, Adega das Artes na Madalena, e ainda na Baobá, um espaço na capital portuguesa dedicado ao mundo infantojuvenil e de ilustração.

After the first book "Néveda in the Azores", it was now the turn of the second adventure of the character, created by Terry Costa and illustrated by Vera Bettencourt, "Néveda in the Americas", to be part of the list of works recommended by the Regional Reading Plan, LER Açores.
The character Néveda, inspired by the plant Calamintha nepeta, better known as nêveda, has already traveled around the world twice. The first time in a paper plane, which takes us to see the 9 islands of the Azores, and the second time in a teleportation, called Catatram-Lalaland, which takes us from the archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean to several countries in the Americas, focusing on themes of emigration, history, human rights, the environment and the world of arts.
The book "Néveda nas Américas" went on tour in Canada, the USA and Uruguay last year, and was distributed to libraries and schools in Uruguay, with the support of the Director of Culture of the Intendancy of Cologne, Dr Eduardo Bonansea. Last spring it went on tour in Europe and is available in Brussels, at the Petite Portugaise bookstore, just a stone's throw from the European Parliament. In the Azores, the bilingual version of the book is part of 4th Year English classes, and also in Professional Schools in Tourism courses. This autumn, the Regional Reading Plan committee added the book to the recommended list for Pre-School Education, reading aloud and guided reading. The book is available in bookstores, including Letras Lavadas in Ponta Delgada, Loja do Adriano in Angra do Heroísmo, Telegrapho in Horta, Adega das Artes in Madalena, and also at Baobá, a space in the Portuguese capital dedicated to the world of children and young people and illustration.
